Here you will give basic demographic and insurance information or mark self pay if that is appropriate. you will then be able to fill out financial information and secure an appointment. Thereafter if all has gone well you will receive a confirmation via chosen route a text and/or email confirmation which will further direct you.
Can I get a prescription through teledermatology?
Yes, if needed, our dermatologists can prescribe medications and send them directly to your preferred pharmacy.
Is teledermatology covered by insurance?
however, as most of these services are relatively new, coverage may be partial or sometimes not at all - the best way to be sure is to find the appropriate billing codes and review their coverages with your insurance carrier.
What if my condition requires an in-person visit?
while video visits offer the option of taking guided photo captures, and have other advantages, we also offer phone with photo visits, phone visits, as well as the occasional photo only visit (lack of appt requires staff approval.)
What conditions can be treated through teledermatology?

What if I don’t know how to take proper photos of my condition?
This is our strength - we have options others may not. you can schedule a direct photo capture in video session, with an imager where we guide you until we obtain the proper photosets. Another option is to ask a relative - who may be more comfortable taking photos. many times its easier in general to get a better photo with someone else taking them. We also have photo guidelines developed over many visits and proven to be helpful which can guide those who are more independent. There is always the option of a live face to face visit as a backup, or we can, though suboptimal, sometimes a phone visit might suffice.
Are video calls necessary for every teledermatology consultation?
Not always. Many conditions can be diagnosed based on photos and written descriptions. Video calls may be used for complex cases.
How do I pay for teledermatology services?

Can I consult a dermatologist after hours?
Yes, we offer after-hours consultations for urgent cases. Availability may vary.

Can I upload more images after my initial consultation?
Of course, but keep in mind that every photo submission is required to be attached to an appointment. After processing copay -you will have an opportunity to submit your photos.
How quickly will I receive a response after uploading my case?
Most consultations are reviewed within 24–48 hours. Urgent cases may be prioritized.
